“exemplary project created by Leanne Suttles!” ~Richard O. Murphy, Jr., ISTE Presenter/Professor, Walden University, M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology
The “Website” is a systematic approach to design and development of multimedia for instruction. I combined my knowledge of effective instructional strategies with the basic principles of visual literacy, web design, and multimedia design to develop effective and usable learning objects. I created an interactive learning experience and beta tested it in a learning management system.
The “Website” is comprised of a graphic logo I created in Photoshop, an mp3 produced using Audacity, an animation edited within Adobe Flash, a web template edited using Adobe Dreamweaver, and a PDF created in Adobe Acrobat.
By middle school, state standards indicated students should know and use the 8 parts of speech with 100% accuracy.
“Grammar: Review the 8 parts of Speech” contains one sentence with all 8 parts of speech. The students can read the sentence and choose what part of speech is being used. The can then click on the raindrop and self-check their answers.
If you have an comments, questions, or would like to share what your students (or you) thought of the Glogster Game, please feel free to leave them!! I look forward to hearing from you.
Have a Blessed Day!!
